Urban Sketcher Week Intragna organized by Mario Leimbacher. We had great fun with our teachers Eleanor Doughty, Rolf Schröter, Stéphanie Senez and Jenny Adam.
A big surprise from Rolf to all of us: he documented the whole week on his blog:

A mixed media workshop
Learn to harness the power of opposites to create visually striking images with clear focal point, and discover the hidden powers of your mixed media tools. Working with their inherent qualities, we will create dynamic, playful images with experimental spirit.
On each day of this two-day workshop, we’ll delve into a different relationship of opposites to explore the properties of our mixed media palettes. Through guided exercises, you’ll find new ways of using the sketching tools you already own. By harnessing opposing visual qualities, we’ll create evocative, textural sketches that capture subtleties within our environment by playing with the classic rules of composition.
Supply List
Paper
5-6 sheets of 300 gsm paper, A6 size.
– The papers should be relatively smooth; a little texture is ok.– The paper can be bound in a sketchbook or loose sheets – up to your preference.
Media
About 15-18 different media tools, in a range of different colors and textures. Things you already own are ideal; please don’t feel like you need to buy
From line to watercolor, play with the negative space – Stéphanie Senez
https://www.instagram.com/lalignecontinue/

In this workshop, participants will explore continuous line sketching, learning to make choices and to suggest rather than describe everything.
Through this process, they will learn to let go and trust the movement of the hand. They will become aware of the compositional decisions implied by the continuous line, constraint at first, but soon a tool for highlighting negative space. We will focus on the balance between empty and filled areas in t he line work, which we will later apply to watercolor. After creating a soft and luminous color palette, participants will learn how to balance filled areas, colored gestures, and empty spaces, the white of the paper. Finally, we will work on contrasts with deeper tones to bring rhythm and energy to the sketch.
